An alpine amaro from La Valdotaine in the northerly region of the Valle d'Aosta. Dente di Leone is the Italian word for the Dandelion, or 'Lion's Tooth'. The Ancient Greeks believed dandelion seeds to be the dust thrown off the chariot of Helios, the sun god, and revered the flower for it's magical powers. La Valdotaine Amaro Dente di Leone blends dandelion with gentian, genepy, other alpine herds, and bitter muscovado sugar. A full, round and balanced amaro.
