Cocchi Vino Chinato

ITALY (16.5% ABV) 750ml

An aromatised wine from Italy's Piedmont district made using Barbera grapes and flavoured with quinine bark and herbs, amongst other ingredients.

Wonderful and refreshing as it is, or try over ice with a splash of soda.

Tasting note: Translucent alizarin red with light crimson edges. Bright and fresh aromas of grapefruit, rhubarb, sage, bay leaf and cardamom following through with gently bitter flavours of fresh red grapes, Summer pudding, gentian, incense and a warming, mildly tannic, bone dry finish.
